Australia enjoys a special geographical situation, many places of interest due its climatic and biological biodiversity. In its territories we will find a variety of unique landscapes, such as:
The great barrier reef: placed in the north-east of Australia, on the coasts of Queensland's region, this one place of great interest in Australia constitutes the major mass of coral reef in the world. This heritage of the UNESCO and protected area, is usually known as the biggest living being in the world. It is one of the most popular places to visit in Australia, where different water activities can be practiced. It also is the home of a great variety of species: fishes, tortoises and it is also a good place for bird watching from the beaches of Queensland. Unfortunately the coral reef is suffering the consequences of the climatic change and warming of the water and together with the high pollution they are endangering the extinction of the species living there. One of the closest and most popular cities of north-east Australia is Caim, which is located very close to the coral reef.
In the western part of Australia, away from the big cities, and one of the most virgin areas in Australia we will find paradisiac beaches and enjoy a trip through Perth, capital of the region and choose from a large offer of different activities.
In the north territory, we can visit besides its capital Darwin, parks such as Kakadu, the National Park of Katherine Gorge, the National Park Uluru or Ayers Rock, declared Heritage of Humanity by the Unesco among other interesting places to visit.
The capital of Australia, Canberra is located in the south of the Australian territory and one of the most popular attractions among others are the kangaroos and koalas living in this area and which are for the Australians more a problem than an attraction because of their overpopulation. In New South Wells we will find Sidney and its popular opera house. Also the Island of Tasmania is located in the south of the country and its capital Hobart is one of the most ancient cities of the Australian continent.
