Interesting places to visit in Denmark

Among places of interest in Denmark we will find real landscape jewels:

Selandia - besides the capital of the country of Copenhagen, we can visit the west and the south of the island, which are protected areas, as well as the islands of the south, Møn, Lolland and Falster which offer a particular landscape - a combination of beaches, cliffs and forests - a really worth area to visit while travelling through the country. One of the most known Danish writers, Hans Christian Andersen, used to spend long time in the area.

Other places of interest in Denmark are the cities of Odense and Aarhus. Both are the ideal option for visitors interested in ecological activities. Aarhus is known for being "The European City" protecting the environment fighting against pollution and its policy of reduction of Co2 emission.

Bornholm's island, called the pearl of the Baltic due to its beauty and traditional buildings. Here we will find the rocks engravings with very spectacular forms, Hellingdomklipperne's round church or Almindingen's forest.

Among the different places of ecological interest in Denmark a visit to Greenland is a "must", an atypical place for travelers but of a great natural interest. The biggest island of the world is scarcely inhabited and its population is usually "Eskimos". Its landscape is of an extraordinary beauty, offering the visitor excursions to enjoy this amazing natural paradise across fjords and glaciers.
