Denmark its culture and traditions
Denmark's people are known for hospitality and kindness and its is said that they are one of the most happiest people on earth. Among the cultural activities and festivities of the country, visitors can spend a great time. Here some of them:
- San Juan night is the welcome to summer and it takes place during the shortest night of the year and it is celebrated every year around bonfires along the beaches on June 23.
- The festival of modern music, Numus Festival.
- Festival Roskilde, one of the most important of north Europe where rock and metal bands of the whole world present their musical work.
- A further important musical event is the famous Festival of International Jazz of Copenhagen which takes place every year in July. The city of Copenhagen is turning into the European capital of Jazz, partly due to the arrival to Denmark of famous musicians of other countries as North America.
- One of the most important cultural events is without doubt the Festival of art, theatre and music which takes place in September in Århus the second largest city in Denmark.
