New Caledonia is an ideal place for relaxing and an unforgettable experience.

The lagoon, the biggest in the world and the coral reef are a perfect place to observe the colorful marine life. The coral reef is the second biggest in the world after the Australian one. This area was declared World Patrimony by UNESCO. All activities as scuba diving are carried out under control in order to avoid ecological damages.

Nouméa, the capital of New Caledonia: Interesting for visitors is the St. Joseph's Cathedral besides museums and many houses of colonial style. Not far away from the city visitors can walk trough the botanical garden.

Extraordinary caves and rock formations are in Borail, in the western coast of New Caledonia. On the eastern coast is located Hienghéne with a lagoon surrounded by high black cliffs.

Ile de Pins lies 70 km from the main island Terre Grande. Characteristic for this islands are the beautiful white sand beaches and lagoons of turquoise colours. Trips to the island from Terre Grande are offered daily.

The Loyalty Islands just 100 km far away from New Caledonia's east coast, is an excellent place for scuba-diving.
