Peru is an mazing country for all passionate about human history and nature, offering a variety of breathtaking sceneries from the environment of the Titicaca Lake up to the architecture of colonial cities.

One of the most visited places in Peru is the Lake Titicaca National Reserve, located in the department of Puno. The Titicaca Lake is the highest navigable lake in the world and the largest in South America (by volume of water), located on the border between Peru and Bolivia. The city located at the edge of the Titicaca Lake is Puno, which is also the capital of the department of the same name, and known as the folkloric capital of Peru due to its well preserved traditions such as dances and music.

The Park of Machu Picchu, the Inca city, never discovered by Spaniards colonizers, remaining unknown till the early 20th century, is one of the most beautiful places in Peru and South America. It is located on the highest area of the Andes and was established in order to protect the environment and archeological site. Walking the Inca Trail visitors can experience the remains of the Inca civilization.

The capital of the country, Lima, the entrance door to Peru, where visitors will be able to start their trips to many countries of the interior, was the most important cities in South America during the colonial era. Its historical, San Francisco's Convent, has been declared Cultural World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

Throughout the country there are many national parks with the main goal to protect the flora and fauna as well as the whole environment. The Huascaran National Park, declared as Natural Inheritance of the Humanity by the UNESCO is located in the department of Ancash and is home of a variety of fauna and flora. The National Park of Rio Abiseo in the department of San Martín with tropical and humid forest.
