Norway is located in the north of Europe, being one of the Scandinavian countries and it is bordered on the northeast by Finland and Russia; on the east by Sweden; on the south by the North Sea and on the west by the Norwegian Sea.

• Nord-Norge: Finnmark, Troms and Nordland

• Trøndelag: Nord-Trøndelag and Sør-Trøndelag

• Vestlandet: Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Hordaland and Rogaland

• Sørlandet:Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder

• Østlandet: (o Austlandet): Telemark, Buskerud, Hedmark, Oppland, Akershus, Oslo, Vestfold and Østfold

There are two official languages spoken in Norway:

• Norwegian and Sami spoken in different regions and Finnish.
